Funny how we set qualifications while we are in the process of finding the person who is best for us. When in the back of our minds we know that the one we love will always be an exception to the rule. Sometimes loving could be so painful, but it’s amazing to know that no matter how hard it is, loving someone is still the simplest reason why you find your self smiling.

मर के जीने की कोशिश कर रहा जो जी के न जी सका कभी फ़िर भी स्वार्थ की नई कीमत खोजता एक खोज मेरे भीतर ये समय की जिद थी या जिंदगी की जरुरत मुझको हीं पैसे से तौलता वो हर रोज़ मेरे भीतर | जिसके हसीं की लहरों से बना था मेरे प्यार का समुंदर देखा उसे तो बस नफ़रत से,क्यों इतना संकोच मेरे भीतर आकाश सी उदासी वो आखों में समेटे यही प्रश्न पूछने चली आती हर रोज़ मेरे भीतर | कांटो की बेल से छुपाये सारे घावों को हर खुशी में चीखता एक बोझ मेरे भीतर भागता रहा सारी उम्र जिस ठहराव से आ जाता है लड़ने वो हर रोज़ मेरे भीतर | पत्थर की करके पूजा पत्थर हीं बन गया हूँ फर्क नहीं पड़ता लग जाए जितना खरोंच मेरे भीतर झुकती नहीं हैं नज़रें गिर जाऊं चाहे जितना तालियाँ बजाता सन्नाटा हर रोज़ मेरे भीतर | सोचता हूँ मन के सूखे ताल को नीर से भर दूँ होगा कभी तो पुलकित सरोज मेरे भीतर जिसकी थपकियों से टूटे अंहकार की सीमायें मिल जाए वो मुझको हर रोज़ मेरे भीतर | Nishikant Tiwari
